Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya is scheduled to visit China on October 13, Minister Vijitha Herath announced in Parliament today (09).
He said the Prime Minister is expected to meet with the Chinese President and hold bilateral discussions with several key Chinese political leaders during the visit.
Minister Herath further stated that following the China visit, Prime Minister Amarasuriya will undertake an official visit to India, where she is expected to meet with the Indian Prime Minister and senior diplomats.
He added that the visits aim to strengthen diplomatic ties and bring new opportunities and benefits to Sri Lanka.
