Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education Dr. Harini Amarasuriya has emphasized the need for school development plans to follow a common regional framework and ensure proper resource distribution.
Speaking at a discussion with Provincial Education Directors at the Ministry of Education, the Prime Minister highlighted that schools should be restructured to provide adequate learning facilities and infrastructure, enabling quality education for all children.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Higher Education Dr. Madura Seneviratne, Education Secretary Nalaka Kaluwewa, ministry officials, and Provincial Education Directors, focusing on implementing the new education reforms across the country.
