Lanka Mineral Sands Limited has contributed Rs. 500 million in dividends to the Treasury as part of its earnings over the past nine months.
The cheque was officially handed over by Acting Chairman Gayan Wellala to Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Anil Jayantha and Secretary to the Ministry of Finance Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma in Parliament today (07).
Mr. Wellala said that the company aims to achieve a revenue target of Rs. 5 billion by the end of this year, reflecting its continued strong financial performance under the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development.
