Three people were killed and another person was injured in a tragic accident that occurred on the Gampola–Doluwa road.
The accident occurred when a car traveling along the road collided with a lorry. Three women who were on their way to observe sil (religious observances) and were traveling along the road at the time were killed in the crash.
The injured person has been admitted to hospital for treatment.
