Sri Lanka Tourism has begun a series of promotional roadshows targeting Indian travellers, showcasing the island’s diverse attractions in key southern cities Madurai, Coimbatore, and Chennai on October 6, 8, and 10, 2025.

Organized by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) and Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB), the events aim to position Sri Lanka as a year-round destination for leisure and MICE travellers. The delegation, led by Minister Vijitha Herath and Deputy Minister Ruwan Ranasinghe, includes officials and over 40 stakeholders from Sri Lanka’s tourism sector.

Each roadshow will feature B2B meetings and networking sessions with more than 200 Indian travel agents, industry leaders, and media representatives, further strengthening tourism and trade links between Sri Lanka and India.
