The brother-in-law of the detained individual known as Backoch Saman has been arrested today (04) by the Western North Crime Division.
Police said the suspect was taken into custody this afternoon in the Biyagama area. Investigations have revealed that he had been managing all of Bako Saman’s financial operations.
During the arrest, officers recovered 555 grams of heroin, along with a pistol and a magazine that had reportedly been prepared for sale.
Further investigations are being carried out under the supervision of ASP Rohan Olugala, Director of the Western North Crime Division, and OIC Linton Silva of the same division.
