The United States Navy’s guided-missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) arrived at the Port of Colombo yesterday for replenishment purposes.
The Sri Lanka Navy ceremonially welcomed the visiting vessel in accordance with naval traditions.
The 154-metre-long destroyer is commanded by Commander Paul Richardson. Following the completion of replenishment activities, the ship is scheduled to depart the island, the Sri Lanka Navy announced.
