Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama today (2) ordered that Neville Wanni Arachchi, the former security officer of ex-President Mahinda Rajapaksa, be remanded till October 17.
Wanni Arachchi was arrested by the Bribery Commission and produced before court on charges of failing to disclose the sources of wealth used to acquire assets and properties valued at over Rs. 28 million.
The Commission stated that the investigations are being carried out under the Anti-Corruption Act and related laws.
