The book, authored by veteran journalist Suranga Senanayake, narrates the challenging story of the daughter of Dr. Shiabdeen Mohamed Safi.
The event drew a distinguished gathering, including JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva, Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation Bimal Ratnayake, Chairman of Capital Group Shashi Raj Mahendran, Group Director Shevan Daniel, Managing Director of MD Gunasena Rajiv Gunasena, Publication Manager Jayampathy Rajakaruna, and Senior Superintendent of Police (Retd) Shani Abeysekara.
Dr. Shiabdeen Mohamed Safi, accompanied by his wife and daughter, was also present at the launch. A large number of literary enthusiasts and well-wishers attended the event, making it a notable highlight of the Colombo International Book Fair.
