The National Transport Commission (NTC) announced that bus fares will not be revised despite the recent reduction in diesel prices.
According to the NTC, the 1.58% decrease in diesel prices does not meet the required 4% threshold for a bus fare revision.
Diesel is now priced at Rs. 277 per litre, following two consecutive reductions of Rs. 6 each in August and September.
