The National Transport Commission announced that issuing tickets on buses operating within the Western Province has been made compulsory from today (01). Both bus operators who fail to issue tickets and passengers who do not obtain them will face fines.
In addition, the registration of passenger three-wheelers in the Western Province has also been made mandatory starting today.
These measures have been introduced to ensure better regulation, transparency, and safety in public transport services.
