The ASPI gained 77.31 points, or 0.36%, to close at 21,676.30 points, surpassing its previous record of 21,598.99 points set on September 26, 2025.
Meanwhile, the S&P SL20 Index also recorded gains, rising by 7.64 points to close at 6,119.21 points.
Trading activity remained strong, with turnover exceeding Rs. 4.25 billion for the day.
Market analysts noted that renewed investor confidence and continued buying interest in blue-chip counters contributed to today’s rally.
