"Expo 2025" Sri Lanka Day Celebration under the leadership of the President.President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who was on an official tour of Japan, arrived at Kansai International Airport in Osaka, Japan today (27)
There, the Presidential election was honored by the Japanese Ambassador Akio Isomata (Akio ISOMATA), the Ambassador of Sri Lanka, Professor Piwithu Janak Kumarasinghe, and senior officers of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
President Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake will be on an official tour of Japan from September 27 to 30.
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is set to be the chief guest at the “Expo 2025” Sri Lanka Day celebrations in Osaka, Japan on September 27. The event is organized by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and the Sri Lanka Embassy of Japan together.
During his visit, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake met the Empire of Naruhitho in Japan, met several key line ministers including Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba (Shigeru Ishiba) and Japan Security Minister, Foreign Affairs, Minister of Finance, Trade and Industry. Bilateral discussions are also scheduled.
Also, the President will also participate in the Sri Lanka Investment Forum organized by Sri Lanka and Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo.
Mr. Vijitha Herath, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism and Senior Officers of Ministry of Foreign Affairs are together for this visit with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
