The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has reported a profit of Rs. 22,130 million during the first eight months of this year, its Chairman, Mr. Janaka Rajakaruna, announced.
Out of this revenue, CPC has contributed Rs. 50 billion to the government. Mr. Rajakaruna emphasized that the Corporation continues to play a vital role in stabilizing the energy sector and supporting the national economy.
He further highlighted that strategic management decisions and efficient operational practices have enabled the Corporation to maintain profitability despite global market challenges.
