Police have recovered another stock of suspected crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as Ice, weighing over 200 kilograms from a lorry parked at the same property in Seenimodara, Tangalle, where two bodies were discovered earlier.

Previously, officers had recovered 10 kilograms of Ice, a lorry, and a motorcycle from within the premises during the initial phase of the investigation.

In a separate operation, police also seized another lorry parked near a service station in Tangalle. That vehicle contained approximately 200 kilograms of Ice and heroin, along with five revolvers and one T-56 assault rifle.

Police Spokesman ASP F. U. Wootler said that one suspect has been arrested so far, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend an additional suspect.
