Kalubowila appointed Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Navy

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, officially handed over the letter of appointment to Rear Admiral Kalubowila at the Navy Headquarters yesterday and extended his best wishes for the new role.

Rear Admiral Kalubowila, who counts 34 years of dedicated service, has been recognised with several decorations including the Uththama Seva Padakkama (USP) for his unblemished record, in addition to numerous campaign and service medals.
