Coastal Cleanup Day & Marine Conservation Week from Tomorrow

The International Coastal Cleanup Day and Marine Resources Conservation Week will be held from tomorrow (20) to the 27th of September.
The inaugural ceremony will be held tomorrow (20) at the Panadura beach under the patronage of Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya.
Minister of Environment Dr. Dammika Patabendi and Deputy Minister of Environment Anton Jayakody are also scheduled to participate.
The Marine Environment Protection Authority has organized this program covering all 14 coastal districts of Sri Lanka throughout the week.
