Court grants bail to former NLB Director Halloluwa

The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (18) ordered the release on bail of Thusitha Halloluwa, a former director of the National Lotteries Board, who had been in remand custody.
Halloluwa was arrested on suspicion of shooting at the vehicle he was travelling in, in the Narahenpita area on the previous day. He was taken into custody in the Kollupitiya area during a raid conducted by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) on August 19 and was subsequently remanded.
