Dense fog disrupt transport in central hills

Vehicular movement across the western slopes of the Central Hills has been hampered since last night (16) owing to heavy rainfall and dense fog.
The prevailing foggy conditions are reported along the Hatton–Nuwara Eliya and Hatton–Colombo main roads, as well as several by-roads in the area.
Due to the reduced visibility, the Traffic Division of the Hatton Police has advised motorists to switch on their headlights and proceed slowly with caution to avoid accidents.
