15 Injured in Bus–Lorry Collision in Epitawala

At least 15 individuals sustained injuries following an accident involving a private bus and a lorry in Epitawala, along the Horana–Ratnapura main road, this morning (16), police confirmed.
According to reports, the private bus had been transporting employees of a private company at the time of the collision. The injured passengers were rushed to Idangoda and Ratnapura hospitals for treatment.
Kiriella Police have launched further investigations into the incident to determine the cause of the accident.
