SC to hear appeal on removal of Karannagoda from abduction case

The Supreme Court today (15) granted permission to proceed with an appeal filed by the parents of the missing youths challenging the Attorney General’s decision to remove former Navy Commander Wasantha Karannagoda from the case relating to the abduction and disappearance of eleven youths.
The court issued the order after lengthy deliberations and fixed January 30 as the date to hear the appeal.
