Sri Lanka raises Rs. 7 billion via bond tap issue

Sri Lanka has raised Rs. 7 billion through bonds offered on tap at average rates set during last week’s auction, bringing the total bond sales for the week to Rs. 123.16 billion, according to the Central Bank’s Public Debt Department.

The debt office sold the 01 October 2032 bond (LKB02032J017) at a weighted average yield of 10.45%, and the 15 June 2035 bond (LKB01035F159) at a weighted average yield of 10.96%.

On Thursday, the debt office sold Rs. 116.16 billion worth of 2030, 2032, and 2035 maturity bonds.
