The Marawila Police have launched an investigation after a complaint was lodged today regarding a body found dumped on the Marawila Mudu Katuwa beach.
According to police, the body was discovered without its head, arms, and legs, with only the torso clothed in blue shorts remaining. Initial observations suggest the victim may be male.
The Acting Magistrate of Marawila is expected to conduct preliminary inquiries into the discovery, while police continue further investigations.
