Sri Lanka’s economy is moving forward at a rapid pace and the country is on the right path, while it is vital to continue with economic reforms, stated Martha Tesfaye Woldemichael, the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Resident Representative in Sri Lanka.

She made these remarks delivering the keynote address at the 26th Annual General Meeting of the Tea Exporters Association, held in Colombo yesterday (12) under the theme “Resilience and Revitalization.”

Woldemichael emphasized that consistent reforms are necessary to maintain stability and ensure sustainable growth, highlighting Sri Lanka’s ongoing progress under its recovery framework.
