556 organized crime inmates under monitoring – Minister

Responding to a question raised during the adjournment debate, the Minister said that both the police and intelligence agencies are engaged in the monitoring process.

He further revealed that organized crime groups have carried out 103 shootings so far this year. Investigations into these incidents have led to the arrest of 322 suspects, including 33 identified gunmen.
