SriLankan Airlines has partnered with Axis Bank, one of India’s largest private sector banks, to offer exclusive airfare deals and travel benefits to the bank’s 15 million customers. This strategic alliance strengthens SriLankan Airlines’ presence in India, a key market, by enhancing value and convenience for Indian travellers.

In the first phase of the partnership, Axis Bank credit and debit cardholders will receive a 10% discount on Business and Economy Class fares when booking via the SriLankan Airlines website. The offer applies to all flights from India to Colombo and onward to destinations in the Far East, Middle East, Maldives, Frankfurt, and Paris.

Additionally, travellers to Melbourne will enjoy an extra 5kg of checked baggage allowance.

Fawzan Fareid, Regional Manager for India, Bangladesh & Nepal at SriLankan Airlines, said, “We are truly excited to partner with Axis Bank. This is the first time SriLankan Airlines has collaborated with a private Indian bank, and we believe this partnership will deliver significant value to our shared customers.”

Arnika Dixit, President & Head – Cards, Payments and Wealth Management at Axis Bank, added, “We are delighted to offer our cardholders premium travel privileges through this partnership, enhancing their lifestyle and travel experiences.”

India remains SriLankan Airlines’ largest market outside Sri Lanka, with 88 weekly flights connecting nine Indian cities—Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, and Madurai—to Colombo and beyond.
