Israeli attacks across Gaza since dawn have killed at least 40 people and destroyed another high-rise in Gaza City, bringing the number of buildings razed during its campaign to seize the largest urban centre in the Gaza Strip to at least 50.

Six people have been killed and many wounded in a shooting in occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli officials say, blaming the attack on two Palestinians from the occupied West Bank. Police say the perpetrators have been killed. Al Jazeera reported.

Israeli forces are carrying out violent raids in the West Bank in the wake of the shooting, killing a 14-year-old boy in Jenin and wounding several others.

US President Donald Trump has said his administration is working on a solution that could be good for Gaza, hours after issuing what he called a “final warning” to Hamas.

Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 64,522 people and wounded 163,096 since October 2023. Thousands more are believed to be under the rubble. A total of 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the October 7 attacks, and about 200 were taken captive.
