Train Derails Between Puwakpitiya and Avissawella

A train traveling from Colombo to Avissawella has derailed between the Puwakpitiya and Avissawella stations.
Due to the incident, train operations along the Kelani Valley railway line have been restricted up to Kosgama, according to the Department of Railways.
Authorities are currently working to restore normal services, while passengers have been advised to expect delays.
