100kg of Chemicals for ‘Ice’ production seized in Kandana

According to police, the latest consignment was found during a search operation at a house in the Kandana area. Investigations are underway to determine whether the stock is linked to the Middeniya discovery.

The seized chemicals will be sent to the Government Analyst’s Department for further examination. Police said further inquiries are ongoing to identify suspects connected to the Kandana find.
