Sri Lanka triumphs in T20I decider against Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe, batting first, posted 191 for eight, with Sri Lankan bowlers restricting the hosts in the final overs. In response, Sri Lanka’s top order dominated the chase. Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis added 58 for the first wicket before Kamil Mishara smashed 73 off 43 balls. Kusal Perera contributed 46 off 26 as the visitors reached 193 for two in 17.4 overs.

The win came just a day after Zimbabwe leveled the series with a five-wicket victory, bowling Sri Lanka out for 80. This result gave Sri Lanka a confidence boost ahead of the Asia Cup later this month.
