President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed Supreme Court Judge S. Thurairajah as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
He succeeds former Chief Justice Murdu Fernando, who retired from the post.
Justice Thurairajah, admitted to the Bar in 1988, has been serving on the Supreme Court bench since 2019.
