Traffic Restrictions on Akuressa–Deniyaya Road

Accordingly, traffic restrictions will be in effect from 8:00 p.m. to midnight on both days. During this period, the Perahera procession will parade along the Akuressa–Deniyaya main road in front of the temple.

The Police Media Division has requested motorists and the public to use the following alternative routes:

From Akuressa towards Deniyaya: Divert at Galdola junction and proceed via Bengamuwa Road to reach Kosmodara.

From Deniyaya towards Akuressa: Divert at Diyadawa TRI junction and proceed via Korava Road to reach Kosmodara Road.
