50,000kg of raw materials for Ice production seized in Middeniya

Nearly 50,000 kilograms of raw materials believed to be used in the manufacture of the drug Ice have been seized from a house in the Middeniya area by the Western North Crime Investigation Division.
The discovery was made during the interrogation of members of a criminal gang, including the notorious underworld figure Kehelbaddara Padme, who is currently in custody.
Investigations at the scene were carried out under the supervision of Western North Crime Division Assistant Superintendent of Police Rohan Olugala and Chief Inspector Linton Silva.
