Sri Lanka’s official reserve assets recorded a marginal increase of 0.3% in August 2025, reaching USD 6.166 billion, compared to USD 6.147 billion in July 2025, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
The CBSL noted that the improvement reflects a slight strengthening of the country’s external reserves position during the month.
