Minister of Health Media viait at UH KDU Hospital

Dr. Nalinda Jayathissa, Minister of Health and Media, was observing General Shrimath John Kothalawala Defence University Hospital - University Hospital – Kotelawala Defence University (UH-KDU) yesterday (02).

Kothalawala Security University Hospital, a modern teaching hospital that provides exceptional patient care services practicing future medical professionals, including the current condition of health services offered by the hospital, increasing human and physical resources as well as investigation of ongoing issues. The purpose of this special observation of the Minister of Health and Media was to discuss ideas and suggestions to make the hospital's outlook and objectives a reality.

Accordingly, the hospital's modern technical equipment dentistry, cancer department, chemical department, surgery, hard care acres, blood leakage center, heart shoulder and intensive care unit, laboratory, chemotherapy unit and residential patient wards as well as other facilities owned by the hospital were also observed. The Minister of Health and Media had a special discussion with the Hospital Governor about current operations, ongoing issues and future operations.
