Sri Lanka to Play First-Ever T20I in Zimbabwe Today

Sri Lanka will make history today (September 3) as they play their first-ever Twenty20 International on Zimbabwean soil.

The opening game of the three-match T20I series is scheduled as a day encounter at the Harare Sports Club, starting at 5.00 p.m. Sri Lanka time.

This will be the second bilateral T20I series between the two nations, with the first taking place last year at Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium.

Zimbabwe, led by captain Sikandar Raza, has announced a 16-member squad for the series. The squad features Abraham Bennett, Ryan Burl, Brad Evans, Trevor Gwandu, Clive Madande, Tino Tendai Maposa, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Wellington Masakadza, Tony Munyonga, Tashinga Musekiwa, Blessing Muzarabani, Brendan Myers, Williams, and others.
