A special traffic plan will be implemented along High Level Road today (03) from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM in view of the 159th anniversary celebrations of the Sri Lanka Police.
The commemorative event will be held at the Police Field Force Headquarters in Colombo, under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
According to Police Headquarters, the traffic plan will cover the section between Thummulla Junction and Thimbirigasyaya Junction. During this period, the bus stop on the Colombo exit lane, opposite the Police Field Force HQ, will be temporarily shifted to the Havelock Road–Fonseka Road junction.
In addition, the entry of heavy vehicles from Thummulla to Thimbirigasyaya Junction will be restricted from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
