Special traffic plan in Colombo for 159th Police day commemoration

In view of the event, the Colombo Traffic Division has implemented a special traffic plan along Havelock Road, from Thummulla Junction to Thimbirigasyaya Junction, within the Bambalapitiya Police Division.

Accordingly, the bus stop on the outbound route opposite the Police Field Force Headquarters will be temporarily shifted to the Fonseka Road Junction bus stop on Havelock Road. This change will be effective from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. tomorrow (03).

Meanwhile, the movement of heavy vehicles such as container trucks and tipper trucks will be restricted along the same road stretch from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Police requested motorists and the public to cooperate with the traffic plan to ensure smooth proceedings during the commemorative event.
