A gas leak from an air duct at the water purification plant located within the Delta Estate, Pussellawa, has resulted in 30 individuals being hospitalized, police said.
The victims, who were affected by the leak, have been admitted to the Gampola and Pussellawa hospitals for treatment.
Investigations are underway to identify the cause of the leak and ensure the safety of the facility.
