Cop arrested after alleged rape at massage parlour

Borella Police said that one of two police constables who forcibly entered a massage parlour in Borella, intimidated the manager and four female employees, and allegedly raped three of the women, has been arrested after falling from an upper floor while attempting to flee.
The suspect, a serving constable attached to the Police Special Bureau Headquarters, sustained injuries during the fall and is currently receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital under police protection.
The second suspect, who managed to escape, is a former police constable who has since been dismissed from the service.
Investigations into the incident are being carried out by the Borella Police and the Colombo South Crime Investigation Division.
