Five organized criminals detained under PTA after Jakarta arrests

They are currently held at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the Western Province North Crime Division under 72-hour detention orders issued under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA).

The suspects — Kehelbaddara Padme, Commando Salintha, Panadure Nilanga, Backohe Saman, and Tambari Lahiru — were apprehended in a recent joint operation in Indonesia conducted by the Indonesian Police, Interpol, and the Sri Lanka Police.
