A Japanese Job Fair and special awareness program jointly organized by the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau (SLBFE) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will be held today (30) at the Bureau’s head office in Battaramulla, under the patronage of SLBFE Chairman Kosala Wickramasinghe.

The program will provide guidance on the correct procedures for applying for jobs in Japan, as well as information on job categories open to Sri Lankans and the basic qualifications required. Two awareness sessions will be conducted in the morning and afternoon.

Representatives from JICA, IM Japan, licensed employment agencies with Japanese job orders, and Japanese language training schools will also participate.

This event is part of the islandwide Japanese job program, with the fourth phase focused on the Western Province. Similar awareness programs are planned for Anuradhapura, while previous events have been successfully held in Badulla, Tangalle, and Kurunegala.
