Wellawaya Police have arrested popular singer Damith Asanka following a complaint related to a family dispute.
Police said the arrest was made after receiving the complaint at the Wellawaya Police Station. The singer was later produced before the Wellawaya Magistrate’s Court, which released him on a surety bond of Rs. 100,000.
