The All Share Price Index (ASPI) of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) reached an all-time high today (30), surpassing the 21,000-point milestone for the first time in its history.

During the morning session, the ASPI climbed to 21,003.97 points, reflecting strong investor confidence and sustained market momentum.

Market turnover for the day exceeded Rs. 2.5 billion, indicating significant trading activity and renewed optimism in Sri Lanka’s financial markets.

Analysts point out that this landmark achievement demonstrates the resilience of the CSE and highlights growing investor trust amid improving economic conditions.
