CID arrests Backhoe Saman"s wife

The wife and child of organized crime gang member Bako Saman, who was recently arrested in Indonesia, were deported and arrived at Katunayake Airport yesterday (29) evening.
The CID Airport Unit took them into custody and recorded statements before handing them over to the CID Headquarters in Colombo for further investigations.
Earlier, Indonesian authorities arrested several organized crime figures in Jakarta, including Kehelbaddara Padme, during which Bako Saman’s wife and child were also detained.
