A total of 108 couples from the Jaffna district tied the knot at a grand mass wedding ceremony held yesterday (28) at the Selva Sannithi Murugan Kovil.
The event, organized to support couples unable to marry earlier due to financial difficulties, was sponsored by philanthropists, including a couple from Dubai now residing in Singapore. They provided funds for jewellery, wedding attire, and other expenses.
Jaffna District Secretary S. Sudharshan, along with relatives and well-wishers, graced the occasion.
