Srilankan Ambassador to Israel Mr. Nimal Bandara told Ziradaily that registration for the 2026 NVQ exams in Israel is currently underway at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel.

Caregiver Category:

Documents required for registration:

A copy of the passport 

A copy of the national identity card

A copy of the Israeli visa

If applying for NVQ Level 4, a copy of the NVQ Level 3 certificate and two years of experience in caregiver sector of four years direct service.  

If applying for NVQ Level 3, one and half year of experience in Caregivers

Hotel and Restaurant Category:

A copy of the passport 

A copy of the national identity card

A copy of the Israeli visa

If applying for NVQ Level 4, a copy of the NVQ Level 3 certificate and two years of experience in hotel service or 4 years direct experience in the industry 

one and half years of experience in the service if applying for NVQ Level 3.

There is no fee for initial registration at the Embassy.

Registration will be done until 30 November 2025, and NAITA will be notified for payment after registration is complete.

Those who paid last year and did not participate in the test will not be charged again for registration.

However, they must register again.

The relevant written and practical tests are planned to be held in Tel Aviv during March/April 2026.

The applicant must complete and submit the application form available at the Embassy along with the above documents.
