UNP Leaders Meet Asgiriya Maha Nayaka Thera

Deputy Leader of the United National Party (UNP) Ruwan Wijewardene, together with Party General Secretary Attorney-at-Law Thalatha Athukorala and several other senior members of the party, visited the Asgiriya Maha Viharaya this morning (26).
They met with the Maha Nayaka Thera of the Asgiriya Chapter of the Siyam Nikaya, Most Venerable Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Thera, and held discussions regarding the current situation surrounding former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, as well as the prevailing political and economic conditions in the country.
The UNP delegation also received blessings from the Maha Nayaka Thera on behalf of the former President’s health condition, as he continues to receive medical treatment.
