Diana Gamage Released on Rs. 10 Million Surety Bail

Former State Minister Diana Gamage, who was facing an arrest warrant for failing to appear in court, was today (25) released on a surety bail of Rs. 10 million.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama made the order after Gamage surrendered before court this morning, subsequent to the warrant issued for her immediate arrest and production.
The Magistrate observed that the bail decision was granted considering her voluntary surrender following the warrant.
Further hearings on the case have been fixed for a later date.
