Sri Lanka Athletics Association elections postponed

The elections of the Sri Lanka Athletics Association (SLAA), scheduled to be held tomorrow (18), have been postponed.

According to the Sports Director General, the decision was taken following an appeal lodged against the rejection of several applications for this year’s elections.

The current Secretary of the SLAA has been officially notified of the decision through a letter issued by the Sports Director General.

The letter further stated that the new date for the 2025 SLAA elections will be announced later.

The SLAA’s Annual General Meeting and elections were originally scheduled to be held tomorrow (18) at the National Library Auditorium in Colombo.
